The website of the Acceleration Program of R&D and Implementation for Regenerative Medicine and Cell and Gene Therapy, "Core Center for Regenerative Medicine and Cell and Gene Therapy (NCGT: Next-generation Cell and Gene Therapy)," started in FY2023, is now online.

This program, supported by the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED), aims to implement regenerative cellular medicine and gene therapy as "Next-generation Medicine" in society by integrating cellular and gene therapies. The four research centers, Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA), Jichi Medical University, National Center for Child Health and Development, and CiRA Foundation, will combine efforts to integrate and develop research advances, build new technologies and infrastructure, and as a central hub, foster the development of young researchers via internal and external collaborations to lead this research area into the future.
